studio pics...
Hello Everyone...
Hope everyone is enjoying summer. It is hot hot here in Nanjing...over 90 most days with 100% humidity most days as well. It is also rainy season, so we don't go outside to much these days. If the girls and I want to get out and about we go visit friends or go to a play center in a mall.
Michael is busy traveling. He is gone again this week and will be gone again next week.
The girls are doing great, growing and changing every day.
Just a reminder Jie Jie means big sister and Mei Mei means little sister, which is what we will refer to the girls as in the blog. I mentioned in a post long ago, but just a reminder in case anyone forgot so you know who I am referring to when I write.
Jie Jie is taking her big sister role seriously. She won't let others touch Mei Mei and when we were at our friend's yesterday she was actually yelling at the other kids to not touch Mei Mei and was pushing them away from even looking at her. She is protective to say the least.
She's a funny girl who loves to joke around. She has gotten so much bigger since we have gotten home with her. She speaks both Mandarin and English. So we all just do a combo at home. She loves things with wheels...cars, her scooter, her bike, and her stroller.
Mei Mei doesn't do much but eat and sleep. ;o) But she is starting to smile. She can hold her head up for a while and likes to stand on her legs for a little bit as well.
Michael set up a makeshift photo studio in our basement. Here are a few pics that he took while playing around with the new equipment. Also some other random photos. And thanks to Nana Diane for the hair bows and sunglasses. They make our girls extra cute and the pics extra fun.

playing catch up...
I am trying to play catch up because I took so long to post about Mei Mei.
She is already approaching 5 weeks old! And we have had Jie Jie for just over 3 months.
Chu Chu takes her role as Jie Jie seriously. When people call her by her name she corrects them and says that she is Jie Jie. Cute!
Things are still going great. Mei Mei is a really good baby. Pretty much only cries if she is hungry or wants to be held. She is changing so rapidly and so is Chu Chu.
I already tried to make this post once the other night and the computer froze up and internet went wonky. Our internet is hit or miss here. I finished the whole post and it all got erased.
So I am going to end this early and just post some pics before that happens again.
