Hello Family, Friends and Strangers! This blog is going to be my attempt to keep all of you abreast of our adventures in China. I hope that through this blog, even though we will be far apart, you will be able to experience my adventures through words, pictures and videos.
Those of you who know me best, know that this blog will probably be a wild ride. I am a quirky girl that loves life and because of my quirks I think my experience in China is going to be very interesting.
My husband and I feel blessed by God to have this experience, so we are hoping to not only experience China culturally, but also spiritually. So my hope is to share not only our daily lives, how we live, what we eat, etc...but also my spiritual journey, what I learn about myself and God along the way.
We are still in Detroit trying to spend as much time with our friends and family as we can before we set sail for the far east. I wanted to start posting now, so that you can be a part of the whole process. We have already started packing and getting our house here squared away. We should be heading to China in August for a "look see" to find our new home. And my hope is to share this with everyone through my new blog.
