Hello Everyone...
I have been trying to finish this post for over a week now. It is a little bit more tricky these days, having 2 little ones to take care of. And Michael has been out of town on business and that means nothing extra gets done.
So sorry for the delay. I am sure many of you have been wanting to see pics of our newest addition. She arrived the beginning of June. She is healthy and wonderful and we are all in love with her.
Chu Chu is already very protective of her sister.
The birth went perfectly. I ended up getting a c section because the cord was wrapped around Mei Mei so she was not dropping into the birth canal and she was facing forward and she is supposed to be facing the other way. And even though the night before I was pretty nervous...lots of crying and praying When it came time for the surgery, everything went perfectly and I can honestly say it was really easy breezy. I had no pain. My doc was great and the anesthesiologist was great. God really looked out for me because pain is what I did not want and He protected me and I really did get a pain free birth. Of course the next couple days after I was sore...but probably after about 3 days I was fine. I think because I did not want to miss out on time with Chu Chu I just really pushed myself to try and recover as quickly as possible. So I just got up the next day and started walking and I haven't really stopped. Having a 2 year old is the way to recover quickly. ;-) They don't give you time to think about any pain.
So over all we are doing great. It is an adjustment for sure. But we are really settling into a great pattern and are just enjoying each moment with our girls and just trying to slow down time because we love the ages they are at.
I better get to the good stuff and post some pics or it will never get done.
Thanks for all the prayers, they really worked. I had as easy of a birth as I could have had and Mei Mei is happy and healthy.
